But who are the external contacts? 🕵️‍♂️

The externals are individuals who are not part of your organization itself, so they are not students or administrators. They may be contributors as some are not tenured. They can also be the apprenticeship mentor of your students.

They appear here and can be added directly from the External menu by clicking Add an external at the top right of the screen.

If you use Edusign exclusively for document signing, externals can also be your clients, your landlord, your friends, your parents, etc. As you can see, there's really no rule or limit! 😅

The profiles created in this menu will have special significance when you wish to send a document to a third party, such as the host company of an apprentice.

Note: these individuals can be added to your Edusign account when sending recipient choices for a document, with variables to be filled by an external.

This tab also allows the creation of apprenticeship mentors that you can then link to your students if you've chosen to add the send absence reports to the apprenticeship mentor option directly from Edusign and automatically.

To send these absence reports, you can simply, after creating the external, link them to a learner directly on the learner's profile.

🎉 And there you have it! You know everything about this menu! 🎉
