To have your learners sign, remember to create your attendance sheet in advance. 😉

To validate your attendance sheets, they must not contain any pre-recorded signatures, whether for instructors or learners. Here is a list of possible signing solutions on Edusign, it's up to you to choose!

To have an attendance sheet signed, Edusign offers 5 signature methods to meet all your needs, whether remotely or in person:

1️⃣ Email signature.

The email signature mode is the most used on Edusign! 😎

And rightly so! The email signature is as practical in person as it is remotely. The learner receives an email and just needs to sign.

This signature mode requires no app installation and is the simplest and fastest remotely. It is also convenient for short in-person trainings.

Finally, the email signature mode allows a learner to sign after a training session ends (catch-up).

Available directly from the attendance sheet on the admin and instructor platform.

2️⃣ QR code

This signature mode is very useful for signing in person. The QR code changes every 5 seconds, which secures the signature.

The QR code signature mode requires learners to have the Edusign app.

This signature mode is ideal for long trainings.

Thus, the instructor can project the QR code which changes every 5 seconds and learners can scan and then sign to attest to their presence.

3️⃣ 8-digit code

The PIN code and signature link are easily shareable. They allow the signing of the attendance sheet without logging in.

This mode is perfect for in-person sessions and can also be used remotely.

Available on the instructor platform and admin.

It then involves asking your learners to go to the displayed link to enter the unique session PIN code (generated automatically for each attendance sheet), in order to select their name and sign afterwards.

4️⃣ Device of the instructor or administrator.

Very useful in person, if a learner cannot connect, lacks a mobile device, or was simply unable to sign during the session, the instructor can sign them in via their device. It's also possible to sign the learner via the admin space.

5️⃣ Shareable Link.

From the Administrator platform, you can then share a link directing directly to the attendance sheet, allowing learners to select their name and sign afterwards.

This link is accessible by clicking on the small share button at the top right of the relevant session.

6️⃣ NFC

The NFC signage method allows learners to quickly validate their presence with an NFC compatible device.

This system, suitable for in-person sessions, offers a quick and secure alternative to other signature methods.

To use it, simply set up the NFC signs in your Edusign space and ensure all participants have a compatible device.
