What is an App on Edusign❓

An App is a new functional component within your Edusign platform.

It is based on our Web API and allows you to quickly address new use cases based on your business needs (tool integration, improvement of existing features).

Apps can be created by:

  • Edusign.

  • Our partners.

  • Yourself!


But what is it for? 🤷‍♀️

Apps extend Edusign's functionalities to increase productivity and efficiency. This way, you can customize your work environment according to your specific needs.

Whether to automate processes, integrate tools, or access additional data, Apps offer you extra flexibility day-to-day.

Edusign covers your fundamental needs, while Apps address more precise business challenges.

Install an App 🧩

Users with the roles "Owner" and "Administrator" are the only ones who can install and uninstall Apps within Edusign.

An installed App can then be used by all users of the Edusign platform.

Depending on the application, you will be required to configure it before it becomes functional:


Where will I find my Apps afterwards? 🔍

Depending on the installed App, it will appear:

  • In your different views of the School platform (Lists, Contact Profile, etc).

  • In the Educator application.

  • In the Student application.

To know in advance where the application will appear, simply open the dedicated section when consulting an App before installing it:
