✏️ Written Guide ✏️

1️⃣ Prerequisites

To successfully set up the Make scenario, you need:

  • "Administrator"/"Owner" role on your Edusign platform.

  • An account and a Make organization (See Make tutorials if needed).

  • Basic knowledge of automation with Make. Check out our latest videos or the dedicated collection in our Help Center if you need to.

  • Of a Gmail or Microsoft account or SMTP.

2️⃣ Copy the Make template into your organization

Step 1, Click on this link to the Make scenario template "Send emargement QR Code after the teacher signed".

Select your organization, then click "Create new scenario from Template"

To understand how it works, you can read customized instructions for each module by clicking on "Start guided setup" before creating the scenario. 🤗 If you do them, the configuration steps will already be ready. 😉

3️⃣ Set up the modules (Webhook, Edusign API, Mail)

Some configurations are necessary on the modules of your scenario before everything works!

Webhook

  1. Create a webhook and name it "On teacher signed", then confirm.

  2. Copy the Webhook address

  3. Go to your Edusign space in Settings > API > Webhooks to create your webhook "on_teacher_sign" with the link copied just before.

Remember to save after setting up your webhook on Edusign! 🤗

Edusign API

  1. From your Edusign space, generate an API key, or use an existing key. It should be automatically copied to your clipboard. Refer to this article dedicated to API keys if needed.

  2. In the "Edusign - Make an API call" module, Add an Edusign connection by pasting your API key, or use an existing connection.

  3. Click OK to confirm.

Mail Account

  1. In the "Email" module, add a new mail connection or use an existing one.

Tip: To reassure your partners, use a dedicated mail account for automations, or an email address with the sender name you want for sending this type of message.

4️⃣ Verify functionality

Once the 3 modules are set up, all that's left is to verify the functionality with a real case:

  • To try it only once, click the "Run Once" button. The scenario will trigger at the next signature of an attendee.

  • To let it run without your intervention, click the toggle button "Scheduling ON/OFF" to set it to ON. This way, the scenario will execute at every new signature of one of your attendees.

Click the toggle button
  • Perform a manual signature, or use the link in a signature email to validate that everything works.
