Are the initial fields not enough for you, and do you want to provide other information that is relevant in your training or for tracking purposes? Custom fields are made for you! 🤗

✏️ Written Guide ✏️

1️⃣ Add your own custom fields

Available on each of your resources

From the profile of a Learner, Instructor, Group, External or during their creation,

you can create a new custom field, or fill in its value if it already exists.

Note:

  • Custom fields are shared among all your contacts (10 maximum per contact type).

  • Custom fields are not shared between resources (the fields of an instructor are not the same as those of a student).

Different types of fields

Your custom fields are directly saved to help you save more time. Three types of custom fields are available:

  • Text: Free input

  • Selector: Save choices and apply them to multiple people. You can add up to 5 values per field.

  • Boolean: Yes / No

2️⃣ Manage your custom fields

Change a field name

You can change the name of your field at any time. The change will be effective everywhere! (See the illustration above)

Delete a field

A field is no longer useful to you? Just delete it. 🤗

Attention: Deleting a custom field results in the removal of all values contained in this field for all contacts.

3️⃣ Custom fields available during Excel import

You have created your fields and want to set their values to hundreds of contacts? Find them during import, at step 2 of column selection! 🤗

Note: Completing a custom field during an Excel import currently only works for "free text" type fields. Would you like the other types of fields? Feel free to let us know. 🤗
