✏️ Written Guide ✏️

Start by going to Make (creating an account is free) or any other automation platform.

Search for "Scenario" on the left sidebar and then click on the "+" that will serve to search for the "Custom webhook" tab.

1️⃣ Import or create the webhook

Two solutions are available to you:

  • Creating a webhook

  • Retrieve an existing webhook

Name your Webhook and then copy the address that will be used on Edusign.

2️⃣ Save the new webhook

For the next step, log in to your Edusign administrator account. In the API settings, you will find the Webhooks tab. You can then add the new URL address of the webhook created on Make and save.

Now, when a contributor is added on Edusign, the information will be sent to Make.

3️⃣ How to use webhooks with alerts on Edusign?

Still with Make, we will see how to retrieve the information of an alert when it triggers.

🎥 Video Guide 🎥

To start, go to Edusign to create a new alert. Next, make your choice at the level of the trigger information. Then select your action and finally the webhook.

As with using the webhooks just above, you will need to create your URL address to use your alert.

Note: Default alerts trigger automatically every night.
