✏️ Written Guide ✏️
1️⃣ Create the webhook
First, open the Make solution, or if you don’t have one yet, create a free account! 🆓
On Make, select the module named “Webhook” and then click on “Custom Webhook.”
The new webhook has a URL that you must copy and paste into Edusign to define how and where to send the information.
We explain it to you:
On your Edusign admin account, in the settings, go to the “API” tab, you'll find at the bottom of the page on the left, “Add a webhook.”
This way you can paste the link assigned to your webhook and save it!
2️⃣ Retrieve the data
Back on Make, add a new module to retrieve more information about the locked course.
When you lock a course on Edusign, the webhook does not send a lot of information. That is why another module needs to be added.
For adding the second module, I invite you to read the article “Using webhooks on Edusign.”
3️⃣ Transform a link into a document
To continue, you have the link for the locked sheet but not the file you want. To do this, you need to use a third module “Get a file” that will allow you to input the URL given via the webhook.
This will allow the link to be converted to data.
4️⃣ Add the sheet to Google Drive
To finish, simply add one last Google Drive module to upload the data to the platform.
When your module is open, you will be able to fill in the requested elements:
Google Drive email
Desired Drive
The folder
The “Map” tab will allow you to go a little further by giving a specific name to the desired sheet.
In “File Name”, you can select the information that interests you.
After filling in all the information, your automation is now complete.🕺
Test it to make sure you haven't missed any details and you're done!
