Accessibility and Ergonomics on Edusign

Edusign is designed to be usable by as many people as possible, regardless of the tools used or the difficulties encountered. This article outlines our commitments to visual, technical, and functional accessibility.

1. A Simplified Visual Interface (Perceptibility)

Our technical and product teams continuously work to reduce the mental and visual load when using the platform.

  • Streamlined Design: We display only essential information to avoid cognitive overload and information dispersion.

  • Improved Readability: The color codes and fonts are chosen to provide sufficient contrast and smooth reading.

  • Consistent Structure: The layout of the generated documents and the site follows a strict visual logic to facilitate orientation.

2. Ease of Navigation and Use

To ensure a quick handling, we have implemented several assistance mechanisms:

  • Contextual Helps: Tooltips and guides appear at strategic points to assist you.

  • Simplified Process: The steps for signing or managing a document are reduced to the bare essentials.

  • Error Tolerance: Our search systems are optimized to understand your requests even if there are typos.

  • Intuitive Logic: The site's architecture is designed to create natural pathways.

3. Technical Compatibility and Robustness

Edusign is developed to operate stably on all your devices and ensure the long-term security of your data.

  • Multi-Support: The platform is accessible via a web browser, mobile, and through our dedicated application.

  • Secure Archiving: Your data is saved and secured for 5 years, ensuring its longevity regardless of technological changes.

4. Note on Drawn Signature

Regulatory Context: We are aware that handwritten signatures (by drawing on screen) can be difficult for some people. However, this signature mode is currently a prerequisite imposed by funders for the validation of attendance sheets.

We are actively exploring alternatives to relax this constraint while remaining compliant with legal requirements.

5. Contribute to Improving Accessibility

Accessibility is a continuous process.
