How to verify student signatures?

Obtain advanced information on signing mode, device used, IP address... etc.

3️⃣ Go further.

1️⃣ Verify that a learner has received a signing email.

To ensure that an email was indeed sent to allow the student to sign via email (or the app), nothing is simpler.

If the email has been sent, the student will then be notified as "Pending" (nb. for signature) on the attendance sheet. Additionally, a paper plane icon will appear next to the student's name. By hovering over it, you can even see the date and time of sending.

2️⃣ The metadata for ensuring how my learner has signed.

If you scroll all the way to the bottom of the page, you can click " View Metadata " to see the device used to create the signatures.

3️⃣ Go further.

You can also go to the "Timestamp" sub-tab in the learner's profile to view the device used to sign as well as the IP address from which the signature was sent.

For advanced checks, and once the sheet is archived you can:

  • Download an archiving certificate that validates the secure storage of data. This is possible at the top of the concerned sheet, only if it is archived.

  • Access the link present at the bottom of the downloaded PDF sheet to obtain more information on archiving. This link is rather reserved for funders.
