Discover the essential features of Edusign and easily manage your training sessions independently, without integration with external scheduling software.

What is Edusign ?

Edusign is a digital management solution for attendance sheets that allows you to:

  • Create your attendance sheets online easily.

  • Digitally sign by learners and teachers.

  • Create and send satisfaction or knowledge questionnaires (MCQs).

  • Archive automatically and legally.

Edusign also allows electronic document signing (contracts, regulations, etc.) and the sending of questionnaires (surveys or MCQs).

1. Create your learners and trainers

Steps to create users:

  1. Start by adding your learners and teachers on Edusign.

  2. Add the necessary information (name, first name, email).

  3. Teachers automatically receive their access by email.

  4. You can choose whether to send the credentials to the learners depending on your signature mode.

Once created, you will be able to view these profiles and their information from the dedicated tabs. You can make changes to learners or teachers if necessary.

Learner groups:

Finally, you have the option to create groups to gather learners from the same class, for example. This can notably facilitate the association of a set of learners to a course.

  • Group your learners by cohort or curriculum.

  • Simplifies the association of learners with a session.

Note: Edusign applies automatic logout after a certain period of inactivity. More info here.

2. Manage attendance sheets

Once you have created the profiles of your learners and trainers, you can then add your first attendance sheets on Edusign! 😍

To have your learners and teachers sign online on Edusign, you will need to create attendance sheets (or sessions) as follows:

Once you have created these sessions, they will be accessible from the Attendance Sheets menu in your account. You can view past and ongoing sessions (under the Started submenu) and see/modify future sessions (under the Upcoming tab).

Created sheets appear in the Attendance Sheets tab:

  • Upcoming (future sessions).

  • Started (current sessions).

  • Archived (completed sessions).

3. Signing attendance sheets

Your teachers can have the sheets they are associated with signed in 5 different ways from their account. Discover the teachers' space!

Available presence states:

You can also:

4. Archiving, modification, and downloading

Once completed and signed, you can archive your training sessions.

Archiving is a necessary step for downloading your attendance sheets in three formats:

  • Classical: the digital format of your old paper attendance sheets.

  • Individual: all sessions signed by a learner over a defined period.

  • By group: all sessions signed by the same group over a period.

Note: The calculation of the number of hours displayed on the documents corresponds to the time of archived sessions that were signed by a learner.

After archiving, the account owner can de-archive an attendance sheet only to make changes to the signatures (resending a signature email, justification of absence, etc.).

Modifying the session settings (dates, times, trainer(s), etc.) will necessarily cause the removal of signatures.

At the end of training, it is finally possible to download a standardized certificate to attest to the training followed according to the hours of courses attended by your learners. Learn how to generate a certificate of completion!

5. Electronic document signing

As mentioned above, you can have your documents signed directly from Edusign. Training contracts, internal regulations, etc. : all this is possible from the Documents tab:

  • Load and customize documents (contracts, internal regulations, etc.).

  • Send massively with personalized fields (name, training followed, etc.).

  • Obtain digital signatures quickly.

Discover how to add and have your documents signed on Edusign!

6. Questionnaires: surveys and MCQs

Easily create and distribute your surveys and MCQs:

  • Create, test, modify, send or schedule your questionnaires.

  • Associate the questionnaires directly to sessions.

  • Export results (Excel, PDF).

7. Configure your training organization

A complete guide will help you become an expert in managing these settings: automatic signature reminders, customization of attendance sheets, rights granted to learners/trainers/admin account users, etc.:

  • Customize your attendance sheets.

  • Activate automatic reminders.

  • Manage user rights.

Quick summary:

Edusign allows you to effectively manage your training: creation of learners and trainers, editing and digital signing of attendance sheets, secure archiving, questionnaire distribution, and complete platform customization.

🎉 Congratulations! You now have all the keys to master Edusign effectively.

Final tip: Test all these features with your team by alternating roles (administrator, trainer, learner).
