Add and check-in students without emails

Or when multiple students have the same email

Do your students have an office email for multiple participants? Or do you simply not have your students' emails? No worries! 🤗


🤷 Add students without emails.

Although Edusign prompts you to enter an email (which is nonetheless handy), you can create students without emails.

To do this, leave the "email" field empty when creating a student.

If you wish to use a QR code for your students to check-in, you will need to export the students' IDs (Actions > Export IDs) and communicate them through your available means.


✏️ Check your students in without sending a sign-in email.

The QR code:

Export the students' IDs (Select one or more students > Actions > Export IDs). students can log into the Edusign app and scan the QR code displayed by the professor for check-in.

The Pin code / shared link - 0 IDs needed:

In their space, the professor can display a link and a code for students to check-in. students don’t need to log in with IDs.

students check in directly from their device without needing to access an email.

The professor can also check-in students on their device.

During remote sessions, the link can be shared in the chat of your video conferencing software.
