Bringing Changes to students

Edit the information of one or more students.

Sometimes, an error might occur during the creation of a student or you simply want to complete their information.

Warning! If it's a creation error, please note that merging duplicate student profiles is not possible.

You will then need to delete one of the duplicate student profiles (whether they have attended a course or not) to only use the correct student. The previous one will only be archived, and their signatures will not disappear.

✏️ Written Guide ✏️

1️⃣ Manually edit students.

To begin, go to the students tab.

Just click on the name of a student to modify their information.

You can then modify all the student's information and access the history of such in the event list on the right.

Don’t forget to Save!

2️⃣ Bulk edit students via Excel import.

While an Excel import is very handy for adding students en masse on Edusign, it also allows you to modify students' information in bulk.

If you wish to update several students' information (except the email address), you can conduct an Excel import.

Edusign will use the email address to associate the students already created on Edusign to those in your file. You can thus modify tags, groups, names... of your students in a few clicks!

Warning! If you change the email address of one or more students, they will be created as duplicates on your Edusign account.

From the students tab, you also have the option to bulk edit their company/companies, training(s), tag(s), and group(s) by selecting the students using the Checkbox ✅ and then clicking Edit (X) from the Actions menu.

3️⃣ Bulk edit students directly from Edusign.

From your student area, you can modify some of their information.

To do this, check the student(s) via the Checkbox ✅ and then choose Edit.

Once you've clicked Edit, you'll have the option to choose the modification you want to make to the student(s).
