What is a group?
Groups enable you to associate learners under the same name, so you can retrieve information and create sheets and documents more quickly.
Generally speaking, the name given to these groups corresponds to the course followed.
✏️ Written guide ✏️
1️⃣ Go to the Groups tab.
Please note! If your training organization already has a classification system in place, we advise you to reuse the same names. This will make it easier to import Excel files.
2️⃣ Name your group.
Enter the group name in the Name field.
3️⃣ Create subgroups.
If your group is a subgroup, indicate this by checking the "parent group" box.
For example, if you want to create a Spanish group within a Class. The Spanish group is a subgroup of the "Class" group. The Class group will be the parent group of the Spanish group.
4️⃣ Add a logo.
You can add a group logo. This logo will be displayed in the top right-hand corner of your attendance sheets. It does not replace your training organization logo, added in the parameters. The latter will appear in the top left-hand corner of your timesheets.
5️⃣ Add learners to the group.
If learners are already present on Edusign, they can be added directly to the group.
Otherwise, you can create an empty group. This group will be filled with learners when you import learners into Excel, if you enter the name of the group to which the learner belongs in the dedicated column of your Excel table.
6️⃣ Save your work.
Click on Create to save your work.
