🔍 Overview and Use Cases
The JobTeaser micro-app lets you view job postings and events published in your JobTeaser space directly within the Edusign Campus student app.
In practical terms:
Students can find JobTeaser in the "+" / Apps menu of the Campus app.
They can access a list of job postings and events from your JobTeaser RSS feeds, which are configured by school.
When you open a job posting or an event, the details are displayed directly in JobTeaser.
The goal is to centralize access to JobTeaser in the same place as your school's other services, so students don't have to look for a separate link.
🔑 Prerequisites
Before setting up the JobTeaser micro-app in Edusign Campus, make sure that:
You have an active JobTeaser account for your institution.
You have access to two JobTeaser RSS feeds:
an RSS feed for job postings (e.g.,
.../job_offers.rss),an RSS feed for events (e.g.,
.../events.rss?...).
Your institution has Edusign Campus enabled and has access to the Marketplace/Micro-Apps section on the admin side.
Feed URLs are provided by JobTeaser or are available in your JobTeaser interface.
🚀 Activate the JobTeaser micro-app in Edusign Campus
Log in to your Edusign Campus admin interface.
Go to the section dedicated to micro-apps / the app marketplace.
Look for the JobTeaser micro-app in the list.
Enable the JobTeaser micro-app for your institution so that it will be available in the student app.
Note: The exact menu labels may vary depending on changes to the interface. Use the search function and the section dedicated to apps and micro-apps to find JobTeaser if needed.
📶 Set up JobTeaser RSS feeds
Once the JobTeaser micro-app is enabled:
Open the JobTeaser micro-app configuration page in the Edusign admin panel.
Locate the fields for JobTeaser RSS URLs.
Enter the two URLs provided by JobTeaser:
Job listings feed URL (
job_offers.rss),Event feed URL (
events.rss).
Save the changes.
From that point on, Edusign Campus will use these RSS feeds to display offers and events in the student app.
🎓 Student Experience
Once the micro-app has been configured:
Students can find JobTeaser in the "+" / Apps menu of the Campus app.
When they open JobTeaser, they see:
a list of job openings,
a list of events.
These lists are populated directly from your JobTeaser RSS feeds (content, order, filters…).
When a student selects a job posting or an event, the details open in JobTeaser.
🔧 FAQ / Troubleshooting
"I don't see JobTeaser in the student app"
Make sure the JobTeaser micro-app is enabled in the "Marketplace / Micro-apps" section of the Edusign admin panel.
If you've just enabled it, ask a student to restart the app or log in again to refresh the list of apps.
"The list of offers/events is empty"
Verify that the JobTeaser RSS feeds are actually returning data (either through your JobTeaser interface or by opening the URL in a browser).
Please confirm that you have entered the correct JobTeaser URLs in the micro-app configuration.
If the problem persists:
First, contact JobTeaser support to check the status of your RSS feeds,
Then contact Edusign support, specifying the URLs used and including any screenshots of the error.
