The digital student card allows institutions to provide proof of enrollment directly from the Edusign application. Two formats are available: the standard student card and the internationally recognized ISIC card. This customization is done through the Edusign administration interface.
📌 Prerequisites
Administrator role required to access the Customization tab.
The feature must be activated in advance by your Edusign contact.
If you activate the ISIC card, contact your Edusign representative to provide a username and password to access the ISIC API.
Steps to configure student cards
1. Access the Customization tab
From the administration platform, click on the 📱 Customization icon, then go to the Student Card tab.
2. Choose the desired card type
In the right section:
Select Standard Card to display a customized Edusign card.
Select ISIC Card if your institution is affiliated with ISIC.
⚠️ Note: if you choose ISIC, no preview will appear until the API returns data.
3. Customize the preview (standard card only)
By default, a generic card is displayed with empty fields.
Use the dropdown menu Preview by Student to preview the card with real data.
Data is automatically retrieved via the client API (name, photo, course, logo, etc.).
5. Activate and confirm the display of the card
If the card is not yet activated, click on Activate Display.
The "Student Card" menu will be displayed in the student application. You can disable it at any time. 🤗
💡 Best practices & special cases
If some data is missing, the corresponding field will display "-".
Dynamic preview is only available for standard cards.
For the ISIC card, the information displayed comes directly from the ISIC API and is not modifiable within Edusign.
