This article is intended for facilitators using Edusign to sign an attendance sheet via an NFC board.

Are you in a room equipped with NFC? You no longer need a paper sheet: you can sign in just a few seconds with your smartphone!

1️⃣ Contactless Signature via NFC Board

The fastest and simplest method 🌟

🧾 What you need:

  • A smartphone with NFC technology (almost all recent models are equipped with it).

  • The Edusign Intervenant application installed and connected.

  • The NFC board available in the room.

πŸ“² Steps to follow:

  1. Open the Edusign Intervenant application on your smartphone.

  2. On the home screen, select the current session.

  3. If the room is equipped, press the "Sign with NFC" button.

  4. Gently bring your smartphone close to the NFC board.

  5. A signature window opens.

  6. Sign directly on the screen, then validate.

πŸŽ‰ It's signed! πŸŽ‰

⚠️ Important: If the attendance sheet is not linked to a NFC-configured room, the "Contactless" button will not appear. In this case, the signing will automatically be done in manual mode, without NFC tagging.

2️⃣ Alternative: sign via QR code on the NFC board

Don't worry if your phone doesn't read NFC: each board also contains a QR code to scan.

πŸ“ Before you start:

  • Enable your phone's geolocation.

  • Ensure the Edusign application is authorized to use the exact location in the settings.

πŸ“² Steps to follow:

  1. Launch the Edusign Intervenant application.

  2. Select the session to be signed.

  3. Press "Sign via QR Code with geolocation".

  4. The application activates the camera: scan the QR code on the board.

  5. A signature window opens: sign on the screen, then validate.

  6. You will see a message informing you about location verification.

🎊 Your signature is validated! 🎊
