🎯 Why is this feature useful?
The campus map allows each user to:
Easily navigate the campus,
Quickly find a specific location (building, service, room...),
Reduce mental load linked to disorientation,
Avoid bothering administration for direction requests,
Reduce procrastination linked to searching for information.
🚀 Access the campus map
1. From the Edusign application
To view the map:
Open the application.
Click on More Menu (or ☰).
Select Campus Map.
The map displays with an interactive 2D view, integrated with Google Maps.
2. Search for a location
You can:
Enter a location or point of interest in the search bar integrated within the map,
Click on a point to display detailed information (name, description, contacts, etc.).
🔍 Example of possible searches: Building A, Administration, Lecturing rooms, Welcome desk for exams, etc.
🧭 Get directions
By clicking on a location, you have the option to start a journey:
The "Directions" button automatically redirects to the navigation app installed on your phone:
Plans (iOS),
Google Maps (Android & iOS).
📱 The experience is automatically adjusted according to the operating system used.
